🌿🌟 A few pics from the TogetherWorks, Caldicot - Community Garden official opening yesterday, Thursday 18th July. It's a wonderful space, and the lovely volunteers made everyone feel really welcome with a tasty chilli.
The new garden is fantastic, a testimony to the volunteers who have worked to make the space so accessible and fit for purpose. 😁
Togetherworks Caldicot is a fantastic initiative focused on bringing the community together through various projects and activities. Their mission is to foster connections, support local causes, and create a sense of belonging among residents.
The Caldicot Community Garden is just one of their brilliant projects, providing a green oasis for everyone to enjoy, learn, and grow together. The mind boggles at the list of other projects and initiatives going on at TogetherWorks, from school holiday breakfasts, to men's breakfast club, to wellbeing events, and drop in sessions with local organisations. The 'Makers Space', is a fantastic place for anyone to drop in and use. There's the community shelves, community fridge, and there's even a community 'pet food bank'!
